Their wedding was due for 9th Dec 2020, but at least we knew Covid would wash away all our plans. They postponed it for later. The Government imposed lockdown restricting movements and marriages in the capital.
They waited for some time to get things normal and thereafter decided to hold a small intimate function with our immediate family members only. They arranged a small private farmhouse in Sainik Farms. With limited gathering we had the most memorable day of our life.
They danced and they enjoyed themselves. Their family who was based out in the UK and Canada, other relatives and friends watched them on YouTube live taking their pheras and 7-vows. No Dj, no dhol dhamaka, no grandeur décor, no aatishbaazi entry of baraat, no ghodi no baraati entry for dulha, yet they had the most beautiful time of their life.
It couldn’t have been better. Never expected the locked down wedding could be so much fun and less chaotic. Only their families and the Two of them celebrated the union of two-souls.
